  • Performed CFD analysis in ANSYS Fluent to prevent corrosion in piping of Thermal Power Plant condenser due to seawater
  • Determined the root cause as erosion at bends, evaluated the coating erosion rate and suggested measures to increase coating life

Projects

Chatter vibration in thin wall milling

❱ Simulated chatter vibration in thin wall milling in MATLAB, based on research by Seguy et. al.
❱ Delay differential equations were solved, enabling successful prediction of average, RMS, and max surface roughness

Conservation of water in cooling towers

❱ Analyzed water vapor trajectory inside cooling towers using particle tracking in ANSYS DPM
❱ Conducted a comparative CFD study on parameters like no. of stages and geometrical shape for a wave plate drift eliminator

Quadruped Robot

❱ Developed a four legged Quadruped Robot as a part of team ROBOCON, which raised INR 50k worth of institute funding
❱ Performed Torque calculations for leg joints and designed a gripper mechanism to hold payload
❱ Implemented five gaits, turning, lateral motion and gait transition in python based on MIT Cheetah paper- 'High Speed Trot Running'

Quadcopter Reel Mechanism

❱ Designed a reeling mechanism in Fusion 360 for power supply cable of a tethered drone using constant force spring to ensure a constant payload

Wall Follower Robot

❱ Built an Arduino based wall follower robot using ultrasound sensor and applied PID algorithm (as a part of team ROBOCON)
